Cocktail

Cocktail Utrecht is a social network developed by COC for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) newcomers (refugees & asylum seekers).

We want to help reduce the isolation that LGBTI newcomers might feel and introduce them into the Dutch society in a safe way.

We want to help improve the social climate for/and the safety of, LGBTI newcomers and migrants in the Netherlands.

Cocktail is fully run by volunteers. We facilitate buddy-contacts between a LGBTI newcomer and a cocktail volunteer. Organising meetings and activities we want to create a space where everyone can be themselves and feel accepted.

Cocktail Utrecht is associated to COC Midden-Nederland and is active in the central part of the Netherlands (Utrecht, Amersfoort, Hilversum).
